Darthseven Systems Inc. allows you flexibility in selecting the various Email and Web Hosting Plans and setting the Selling Price for your Customers and Sub-Resellers for your Email and Web Hosting Product. The pricing model being offered to Customers by the system allows offering discounts based on the number of months a Hosting (Email Hosting + Windows Web Hosting + Linux Web Hosting) Order is purchased and renewed for. This feature is referred as Telescopic Pricing. For Sub-Resellers, pricing is determined based on the Total Receipts based Slabs.
Select the Plans you want to Sell
Darthseven Systems Inc. lets you sell upto 3 Hosting plans to your Customers:
Login to your Control Panel. 1
Go to Settings -> Manage Products and Pricing.
Under Email and Web Hosting, you have 3 Plans that you can choose to offer to your Customers by setting their status to either:
Sell: This status allows your Customers to purchase Hosting Orders under the Plan.
No New Orders: This status disallows accepting new Hosting Orders for the Plan from your Customers. However, existing Orders can continue to be Managed and Renewed.
Click Save to submit your choice.
Selecting No New Orders does not impact availability of the Plan to your Sub-Resellers.
If you do not want your Sub-Resellers to sell a particular Plan, you would need to stop offerring the Email and Web Hosting Product entirely. 2
Set Selling Price for Customers for the Email and Web Hosting Product
Darthseven Systems Inc. allows you to set Telescopic Price ranges for Hosting Adds and Renewals for each one of your Hosting Plans. This simply means that you may offer your Customers increased discounts as and when they may choose to add / renew their Hosting Orders with you for multiple months.
Example:
Suppose that your Cost Price for Plan A is USD 5 per month. Depending upon your business model, you may typically set your Selling Price for 12 months as USD 10 per month. Now, if a Customer wished to add a Hosting Order under Plan A for 36 months, he would be charged USD 360 (USD 10 per month). However, with the Telescopic Pricing model, you may set a reduced price of say, USD 8 per month. In this way, your Customer is charged USD 288 instead of USD 360, thus, availing a discount.
To Set your Email and Web Hosting Telescopic Price:
Login to your Control Panel. 3
Go to Settings -> Manage Products and Pricing.
Click the Manage Price link under Selling Status for Customers for a Plan.
On the succeeding Domains Pricing page, you will find a list of Top Level Domains (TLDs) that you have chosen to sell. Click Manage Pricing link for the TLD whose pricing you need to set.
On the next page, you may choose to add additional slabs by selecting it from the drop-down at the bottom of the page and clicking Add Slab.
Mention the per month Selling Price in each box as appropriate.
Further on, set a per month reduced price, for any subsequent slab.
Click the Update Pricing button to save your changes.
Additionally, in any Web Hosting Plan, Add Dedicated IP/SSL is available. This can be specified for only the slab of the least duration.
Example:
If you have a Selling Price For 12 Months slab and a Selling Price For 36 Months slab, then you would be able to mention the Add Dedicated IP/SSL Selling Price for only the 12 Months slab.
If you have multiple slabs configured, you need to set reduced pricing in each slab from top to bottom. You will not be allowed to set a price higher than that in the previous slab selling price field.
When Specific Pricing is not set, then your Customer would get the best pricing from amongst the Telescopic Pricing (for Domain Name Registration Product) and any ongoing Promotion Pricing (if applicable).

Set Selling Price for Sub-Resellers for the Email and Web Hosting Product
Step 1: Manage your Pricing Slabs
You may set Pricing Slabs depending upon the Total Receipts of your Sub-Resellers or the number of Hosting (Email Hosting + Windows Web Hosting + Linux Web Hosting) Orders purchased by your Sub-Resellers. The Selling Price to each Sub-Reseller is determined at the time of purchase depending upon the Total Receipts, the number of Hosting (Email Hosting + Windows Web Hosting + Linux Web Hosting) Orders, your Slab Pricing and the Sub-Resellers' Specific Pricing.
To Add / Delete Pricing Slabs
Login to your Control Panel. 4
Go to Settings -> Manage Products and Pricing.
Click the Sub-Resellers tab, under any Email and Web Hosting Product's Plan.
Click the Manage Price link.
Now, click the Add / Delete Slabs link at the bottom of the table.
On the next page,
Add a New Slab based on Total Receipts or Hosting (Email Hosting + Windows Web Hosting + Linux Web Hosting) Orders and click the Save Slabs button.
Add as many Slabs as required, in this manner.
Delete any existing slab by clicking the Delete link under the Action column. Click the Save Slabs button to submit your changes.
Sub-Reseller Pricing Slabs are common across all Email and Web Hosting Plans.
Step 2: Setting your Selling Price
Login to your Control Panel. 5
Go to Settings -> Manage Products and Pricing.
Click the Sub-Resellers tab, under any Email and Web Hosting Product's Plan.
Click the Manage Price link.
Set your Base Selling Price as well as Pricing for any Slabs that you may have configured, for your Sub-Resellers.
Click the Update Pricing button.
The Base Selling Price cannot be empty.
Each Slab must have a Pricing less than or equal to the previous Slab.
You may enter zero (0) in any field.
Example:
If you set the Renew price for a Plan as 0 for a particular Slab, then a Sub-Reseller falling under that Slab would be able to Renew Orders under that Plan for free.
When you set the Price to zero (0), an Invoice is still raised for the Domain Name Registration Product but its value is zero (0). This is done only from the perspective of recording the transaction. Your Sub-Reseller is never asked to pay for this Invoice.
A Slab can have the Price field empty, in which case it will be ignored.
The SuperSite and PartnerSite contain Pricing information about the Products and Services you offer to your Customers and Resellers respectively. This data is downloaded to your SuperSite and PartnerSite from your Control Panel and cached (stored) on the SuperSite and PartnerSite Server respectively. Hence, you would need to refresh the cache of your SuperSite and PartnerSite once you have completed the above process. You can accomplish this from within your Control Panel itself by clicking Tools -> Reload SuperSite & PartnerSite Cache -> SuperSite & PartnerSite Domains and Additional Services Data.
